Alexa has finally released their much anticipated toolbar for Firefox Browser. Nicknamed "Sparky" the browser plugin accompanies you as you surf, providing useful information about the sites you visit without interrupting your Web browsing. There are also quick links on a popup context menu that allow you to learn about a site’s Traffic Trend information or find Related Links no matter what site you are on.
The Alexa Toolbar is used by Alexa to calculate website traffic details based on the data gathered from the community. Up until now, I’ve been using the Quirk Search Status plugin that shows not only Alexa data but Google PageRank data as well. The new Alexa plugin, co-habitates nicely with my Search Status plugin and it is much faster than the IE version.
If you’re a Firefox user and are interested in downloading the Alexa toolbar plugin, follow this link.
