I was intending to ask this question earlier in the week when I added the ScratchBack Widget to the blog here. I personally think the widget is a good thing. From the White Hat SEO perspective, it’s not like anybody is buying a permanent text link to stimulate Google’s precocious search engine spider (that is known to crawl into places it wasn’t invited) but it’s a genuine, “Buy a Cheap Ad” on my site solution.
Unfortunately, I signed up to ScratchBack using my Gmail address because I wasn’t sure they weren’t just another internet blogger tool harvesting email addresses of bloggers, and like a true marketer, I missed my first person who tipped me because I didn’t check my Gmail account for a few days.
I want to say thank you to Web Hosting Pros for the first cookie in the cookie jar. Every dollar counts and for $3.00 USD, they’ve got my top spot. I think that’s a pretty good advertising vehicle for a few dollars in Paypal.
The way I discovered ScratchBack was from leaving a tip on another bloggers site…
What do you think about ScratchBack?
