I woke up this morning to find that my Digg account has been terminated. I have to say the people at DIGG are the biggest bunch of bungholes ever and that they continually terminate accounts that for no valid reason. I have submitted only the highest quality articles, made comments on others blog posts and generrally been an exceptional contributing member. I even wrote a popular post about how to add a Digg button to your Wordpress blog. The whole concept of a “social networking community” is to make friends and have those friends “Digg” your articles. I had over 60 friends in my account and I do publish high quality original content which seems to get dugg rather quickly by my bloglines and RSS readers.
As of this point I would never use Digg again and promote their site by having the icons on my site. This is just a warning to all of you out there. Digg doesn’t want quality, they want crap from their little circle of Diggers. Again, I thought the purpose of “Social Networking” was to build friends and network with people through whatever means. Digg obviously doesn’t see it that way.
Screw Digg - If anybody has any alternatives to them, please post a comment with the info.
thanks.

I hate digg. they are abunch of sel-centered morons over there. They banned my account today and I had only made one vote on my friends site.
DIGG SUCKS
Ok This is very interesting. I sign up few days ago, but i never used digg.
so Today i thought lets put my site in digg today.
So i put my site with 4 or 5 lines description. after 2 hours i got banned from Digg. I dont even know why i got banned? i did not cheat anything.
i did not vote. i did not break any TOS. But why they disable my account?
well i don’t care as i don’t use digg. but this is very strange!
I agree that Digg is completely worthless and a huge waste of time for webmasters. I was banned for no reason and all of my stories were removed. They also banned all of my friend. I think Digg is history. I’m hoping for something new to take it’s place.
I’ve used Digg for a while and have tried many other social bookmarking sites. Most of the others have poor traffic or many flaws. Digg is by far the best IMO.
I had a bad experience with bumpzee, but its because they have high standards on stuff posted. So you may want to try them. Their voting button even looks like the digg button.
