So what do you think? Are any of you reading this going to get a big windfall from this class action? Affiliate marketers are bread and butter for Adwords so there would have to be quite a few affiliate marketers in line for their settlement.

Sounds good to me! I guess I should check my inbox for that email. I only spend a few hundred per month with Adwords, so I’m curious what my cut would be? Even if it’s all Adwords credit, that’s fine. I’ll take it!
Very nice. I wonder if Shoemoney will have similar success in his action against Google.
@Reuben - It doesn’t look like it’s going to be very much for average Adwords customers but it’s worth checking out how much is available.
This is the first I had heard of the settlement on Google’s part. In fact, I didn’t realize there were Adword underpayments. I personally am not affected by this, however, it is interesting to see Google’s willingness to settle - an admittance of guilt, perhaps?
In any event, at least they did make a payout for those who were wronged, but the question is whether or not that figure is an accurate representation of the actual dollar amount in error.
Isn’t it amazing what turn of events can take place? Appreciate you letting your readers know about this.
I wonder how they are getting around letting resellers get a piece of the pie. I know that many resellers have had problems for themselves as well as have had problems with their clients surrounding the issue.
That might open the door for later action.
Thanks for the post. Wow, I was a customer between these same dates, that means thatI can be eligible for piece of class action. Thats cool!!! I have never thought about it!!! Thanks for sharing it with me, I really appreciate it.
Nice article. I was a customer during those dates. I’ll definitely be checking into this! Maybe adsense will finally pay me more than $3.47…ha ha. Thanks.
Thanks for this great info. I used adwords a while back, and I have not checked with it since I ran out of money! I better go see if I have anything coming from this!
Thank you!
it is just rightful to give back if they have charged more than the usual.
$20 million is a lot to distribute, LOL..
I used adwords a while back and to be honest havent checked my email account for quite sometime, best check it to see if got message from google. Thanks for letting me know about this.
I will for sure be looking into this. If only now they could do something about closing Adsense accounts without letting you know why or having to prove it. Thanks for the info!
It takes a pretty hard time and it is very tough to do it. Google is setting new records and according to the stats of 2008 Google spent around 500$ billion on ads.
We just received our notice in the mail today.
Wow it is really a fantastic news to hear about !did google publish the name of the lucky guys getting the bucks !wow i wish if i were there then i would have also got some of them!
Google seem to be getting caught up in a fair few legal disputes these days. Hopefully they’ll wake up and spend some time working on a worthwhile support team for the Adsense and Adwords programs. Cheers.:D
