It’s a lot of work to go through the sites and find ones that are good to comment on. Is there a good way to find out if a site follows comments ?

To find out which blogs carry the nofollow attribute

To find out if the site uses nofollow at all, use “nofollow” as your search term.

On the contrary, the task of commenting on blogs for the sole purpose of backlinks as well as trackback/pings, etc is entirely useless for the purposes of search engine ranking as wordpress and the majority of other blog platforms have built in nofollow tags in comments and trackbacks.

The majority of these .edu & .gov bloggers are low skilled bloggers and the chance of them hacking the files to strip the nofollow are indeed very slim
