Just presenting a basic interpertation of the PayDotCom affiliate program for publishers…
Overview : PayDotCom is similar to ClickBank in that it is based on an electronic “marketplace” that consists of vendors selling e-books or online services. Affiliates earn by promoting the vendor products on their website for a percentage of any sale that is made reulting from by a consumer’s click-through from the publisher affiliate to the vendor. PayDotCom does not pay “per click” as with AdSense or AdBrite, and is more similar to the Amazon Associates program where the publisher is paid a commission on each lead that results in a sale by the vendor.
Click Fraud : In commission based affilite programs, click fraud is irrelevant because earnings are based on sales and not on clicks.
Tips : PayDotCom is already gaining support from former ClickBank affiliates who found it hard to meet ClickBank’s minumum requirements for ClickBank to cut a publisher a paycheck. PayDotCom actually pays it’s affiliates in real-time and utilizes PayPal as a payment option in addition to paying by check, and there’s no minimum. Have I forgot to mention, they also accept Malaysian publishers.
Customer Service : This program is very new and we have yet to contact support.
ABP Opinion
PayDotCom’s publishers interface is far more advanced than ClickBank’s. When it comes to a publisher looking for vendors to promote, PayDotCom provides banners, source code, and all the little extras not found in ClickBank’s interface.
