Twitter is everywhere in the media. You can’t avoid it. More often than not, it’s a casual mention or a shameless plug to get more followers. Bloggers have been at the forefront of the Twitter onslaught with literally thousands of Twitter articles being churned out every day. It can be time consuming to weed out the legitimate blog posts from splogs (spam blogs) but with a little work, you can find interesting Twitter related blog posts such as these :
- Christian Science Monitor Nominates Twitter For Nobel Peace Prize
- Twitter Gets In Your Face About Upgrading to Firefox 3.5
- Murdoch: No Interest in Twitter
- Wal-Mart’s Twitter Account Comes with a 3,379-word Terms of Use Agreement
- How to Handle Post-Divorce Tweeting: Beware Of the Bitter Twitters
This article from SearchEngineWatch.com explains how Mark Pfeifle, a Christian Science Monitor opinion columnist, believes that Twitter should be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. hmmmm….
OK, so we all know that TechCrunch.com can’t go a single day without a Twitter-related article but the comments are usually the funniest part of the article.
Rupert Murdoch, CEO of News Corp, has some interesting comments about Twitter. Not only does he state he has no interest in purchasing Twitter, he flat out warns investors to beware because it hasn’t figured out a way to make money
Some companies just don’t get it, or maybe their lawyers don’t get it, or maybe the authors of this article don’t get it. Read the comments for a laugh.
I was saving the best for last. Here’s a handy guide on how to keep yourself out of trouble if you’re in the middle of a divorce and your ex is on Twitter. This could come in handy for some of those high profile affiliate marketers.
Love it or hate it, Twitter is here to stay and bloggers will continue to cast their pearls of Twitter wisdom into the pool, hoping to get some coveted traffic or a few votes on social media sites and a trickle down of traffic. If you have a solid Twitter article that you’d like to have listed in my next installment, leave a comment below.

Those are definitely interesting picks for today! On my way to reading the one on Murdoch and How to Handle Post-divorce tweeting. The topics are so diverse, from Nobel prizes, business, even divorces. Just goes to show how Twitter can be used as a venue for sharing on all sorts of topics.
Thanks for posting these fresh articles about Twitter. Are you going to do this on a weekly basis? If you are I will subscribe to your blog.
I am interested in the last article but really I am not sure how Twitter can hurt your divorce but Myspace or Facebook are safe? Could someone please explain that?
Who could think that Twitter should be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize? pfffttt
WE ALL ARE THE TWITTERS & WHENEVER WE COME TO ANY OF THE QUALITY BLOGS RELATED TO IT WE FEEL VERY HAPPY BECAUSE WE GET SOME INFO ABOUT THAT WHICH CAN HELP US FOR BETTER TWITTING!
i use twitter but not as much as i used to, and those statements above from different companies using twitter are very interesting, especially the one ‘…Post Divorce Tweeting’
I laugh every time I think about the Billions of hours being lost to Twitter. I glad when I find out that my competition is using Twitter. I use every moment that I can to market and promote my site. I just don’t see the ROI with Twitter.
yes twitter is becoming more and more popular every single day.. but what do you think is twitters true value, how and which ways can you (your business) benefit from it?
twitter covered the entire internet market & now it is increasing it’s limits so why to wait?just get involved in it!
I finally gave in and updated to FF 3.5.1 and it’s ran good so far
I lost off my 2.x bookmarks, but all the ones I had when I tested 3.0 before were still there..lol
I just with the adsense addon would work
“twitter covered the entire internet market & now it is increasing it’s limits so why to wait?”
Yes youare right, but I thing it will slow down in the future, Twitter attracts to much spammer, I think! Go on with this great work!
But the spamming problem at myspace isn’t such big as it was a few years ago. Why should Twitter not work like this. I think there are many ways to protect a normal user.
Before recently I didn’t know that Twitter was practically taking over the world with the enormity of its influence on culture and current events.
I´ve seen twitter accounts with a full integration of a website into an twitter account. Is it possible to embed, let saya a webshop or a blog into your twitter acount ?
I still cannot figure how can Twitter improve someone’s business..
Well I would say, the clear direction is perhaps not very much clear yet.But I think, there is a lot of potential in the idea of Micro Blogging Twitter. The approach and maybe some frish and new ideas will show in the future, if you can make something really profitable out of Micro Blogging.
I view twitter only as a place to promote. Never have i used it for its “true” purpose of social networking. that’s why i just run my own blog site and direct my friends to its content
